Mental Health & Community

Create & Connect – A Cozy Community Meetup at Goto 10

Swedish winter is dark and cold, making sedentarism, social isolation and mental health issues a risk for everyone. In 2025, I started a community event in which people are invited to unwind and relax while exploring their creativity.

The aim of this event is to help individuals at risk of isolation (e.g., immigrants, individuals with no family, ...) to find their own community and make these months more bearable.

LGBTQI+

Asexual: a forgotten history

As part of the lgbtqi+ community, I want to help raise awareness of the invisibilization faced by asexual individuals as well as clear the misinformation that currently exists about asexuality. They are working on a book entitled (preliminarly) "asexual: a forgotten history" in which I explore the presence of asexuality in society over history.

Diversity and Inclusivity Committee OHBM

In 2025, I became a member of the Diversity and Inclusivity Committee from OHBM. The roles for this position have not yet been decided, nonetheless, common activities for this committee include the organization of scientific events aimed at children in their native languages, ensuring accessible venues for the annual meetings or the inclusion of diverse content in neuroscience.
